Week 3:One line story

My determination is to be who I am, and bring happiness to the world, even knowing there is heart break to come.

Week 4: Dialogue

As Diana and Charles arrived in Africa she was filled with anticipation and excitement. Her passion was bringing happiness to everyone. It was 2:00 PM, as she stepped out of the jet, some of people from the nearby village surrounded them.

“Step back, don’t get too close,” Charles demanded.

“Why, what are you afraid of?”, Diana glared at Charles with disappointment.

Charles grabbed her arm and pulled her away from the crowd. Diana jerked away from him.

“Stop, Charles! There is nothing wrong with these people. You are the one with the problem.” Diana snapped.

Charles backed down and continued walking toward the car which took him to the hotel. Diana stayed back to talk with the village people. Most were very thin and hungry, some very sick with diseases, such as AIDS.

“I’ll meet you at the hotel, Diana,” Charles called out.

Diana stayed back with the doctors and nurses as she continued to with the people.

“Princess Diana, could you please wear these gloves for your safety?” one of the nurses asked.

“No, No”, Diana politely replies.

The security guards came over to assist Diana with the gloves.

“Please, step back, I’m fine and want to be with these people. Look at them, they need respect and love. They are human beings just like us.” Diana responded.

“Yes, Ma’am,” said the security guard.

Diana continued shaking hands and giving hugs to the sick. She picked up one child who had AIDS and held him tight and smiling. The doctor saw her and immediately called Charles.

“Princess Diana, Prince Charles is on the phone,” the doctor said.

“Sure, give me a minute,” Diana said without looking up.

“Yes, Charles,” Diana said.

“What is wrong with you, I heard that you are holding children who have been diagnosed with AIDS. Aren’t you aware that you could also get the disease and die?” Charles said with an upset voice.

“ Charles, these are humans too. If I get AIDS it was worth being here and giving people joy.” Diana said.

“I’m coming to get you right now,” Charles demanded.

“I know your trying to help. Just go back to London and let me be. I will be fine. Tell the boys I love them.” Diana replied.

Diana continued to make her way through the crowd. After this event, Diana did not get sick from AIDS. In fact, she was the first person that removed the stigma from HIV and AIDS.

"I don't go by the rule book. I lead from my heart, not my head."

"Helping people in need is a good and essential part of my life, a kind of destiny."

"I think the biggest disease the world suffers from this day and age is the disease of people feeling unloved."
